AMAZING

"Lia has been the BEST. My dads case was a very difficult one. When we were told that my dads case had no resolution, we were left completely devastated. After we first met Lia, we knew she would go above and beyond to help us. She is hardworking and DEDICATED. She treated us like if we were her own family. There were many sleepless nights but that didnt matter to her, what her goal was, was to get my dad out of detainment from ICE. Lia is skilled and knowledgeable in immigration law. We admire her intelligence. We will forever be grateful for her. Without her help our dad would not have been reunited with our family. It was truly a difficult case but what was impossible, Lia made it possible."

Priscillia Suntoso helped me and my husband!

I wish I could give her a 10 star rating. She is the best! A friend recommended Priscillia Suntoso to us when we really need help with my husband's immigration status over three years ago. We hired Priscillia for help when my husband was out of status and he now is a permanent US resident. Priscillia is a very knowledgeable immigration attorney. She provided us with guidance throughout the entire process. Next step, my husband will be filing for US citizenship! We appreciate Priscillia Suntoso dearly for her professionalism, knowledge, willingness to listen and for taking on a difficult case like ours.

Her experience, dedication and willingness to take on complex cases changed my life

I don't know where to begin, but I will start by saying there is no other immigration attorney I trust more than Priscillia Suntoso ( Lia ).

I was granted a "Withholding of Removal" from the Unites States based upon a sexual orientation exemption in 2003. I missed the one year deadline to renew this status and my attorney at that time didn't try to appeal the suspension of my "Withholding of Removal"status. I have became more aware of immigration laws ever since and continued updating my knowledge about immigration after this horrible experience. I tried to re-open my case in 2011 based on change circumstances (gender transition). I went to see different immigration attorneys, even the best attorney for LGBT, and I also called Hofstra University for help because I believe I had a strong case. Nobody was willing to take on a case of my complexity or even attempt to re-open my case for adjustment status! They were all told me that I didn't have a case and couldn't re-open. One of them even told me to just move to Canada. During the time of my gender transition, I tried to change my gender on my immigration paperwork for 3 years but was unsuccessful. The immigration application center kept asking me for more evidence of my gender transition even though I provided evidence accordingly!

I met a friend who recommended Lia to me. My past terrible experiences left me feeling hopeless and like this wasn't going to work. I was wrong, I think an Angel was sent from heaven. That Angel was Lia. She was able to change my gender on my immigration paper with only 1 phone call! I thought that was amazing. I was so happy. To finally see progress after such a short time was finally some good news after such a long time of disappointment. I don't know how she obtained results so quickly, but she had shown me ability no one else could. Soon after she was able to re-open my Asylum case . The case was reopened in 1 month! We filed motion to re-open in October 2015 and was approved in November 2015. Amazing!

We were given the date to see the Immigration Judge 2 months later. We had to change the venue and change the judge due to immigration scheduling conflicts, but Lia still kept getting results, despite all of the challenges. I finally felt hope again based on how she does her work. Lia also wants her client to work hard with her. My case was very strong but very complicated, I didn't even think I would win asylum especially after I have been living in the United States for 16 years! After all her hard work my asylum was finally granted without objection! She fought so hard for me. She cares about her clients. She takes her client's needs personally. She is my Angel. Without her, I would have been deported and forced to return to a place that would never accept me for who I am. Lia is honest and will tell you the truth! If you want to know if your case is strong or weak, she will say so! She told me I had a strong case but it was complicated and might take a long time to finish. She even created 3 options for me to adjust my status in case the first one failed. She had a plan for me. Since my visa was no longer eligible, she decided to apply for asylum and we won! Her experience, dedication and willingness to take on pro bono, complex cases changed my life and gave me the chance I needed.

Great and Very Professional

I highly recommend Lia as an immigration lawyer. Not only is she very proficient in completing her side of the process, she also mentors you and explains how the process works to help guide you towards a successful case. This helps your case by creating a higher quality of petition. She’s also always available, even when working from a different country entirely.

From the first time we talked, it was quite clear how proficient and professional she was.
She’s able to be two to three steps ahead of where you are now in the process so you’ll be prepared when you get to the next step. She’s very direct and honest- she’ll tell you directly whether the approach will be successful or not. She always gave advice on how to make it stronger and offered alternate solutions if I came up against a roadblock.

I applied for an O1 Visa with the premium process, which is much more tedious and intensive than the regular process. With the help of Lia, I got my visa less than 2 weeks. I would highly recommend her for O1 petition. Thanks to her preparedness, I didn’t get any RFE from USCIS; it was approved as soon as possible. I couldn’t possibly recommend her more.

Visa to USA - Lia Helped Make it Happen

My Balinese girlfriend applied for a visa to visit the U.S. and was turned down within 5 minutes of her interview in Surabaya for reasons we did not fully understand. I contacted several people in the U.S. and in Indonesia to try to learn more about the process and what had likely happened. I finally got in touch with Lia Suntoso and soon became aware that she fully understood the process and could help us. We retained her and she put together a packet that included supporting information about my girlfriend and me that was submitted to the embassy in advance by Lia and also in person by my girlfriend during her second interview to obtain a visitor's visa. The process with Lia involved many phone calls and emails as it was important to submit appropriate and accurate supporting documentation. Lia did all of this promptly, courteously and for a resonable fee. It was a pleasure to deal with her. By the way, my girlfriend had the same interviewer for the second interview in Surabaya and received approval for her visa within ten minutes.
